Dear Artisan,

Planning has begun for the 2008 Oregon Lavender Festival Artisan Fair.  The Festival was well attended in 2007 and was deemed a huge success by attendees and vendors alike.  Every artist and vendor involved in the 2007 Festival has asked to return.  We expect attendance to increase again this year due to the excitement created by last year's Festival and the extensive promotion of this event.  We will be extending the available space for artisans to include more spaces in Yamhill as well as spaces at the participating lavender farms.  Festival dates for 2008 are July 12th and 13th.

The Lavender Festival is a culturally diverse event that includes lavender farm tours, a Paint Out and art show, music, food, crafting classes, entertainment and the Artisan Fair.  The Artisan Fair is a very important and heavily promoted part of the Festival.  Available booths are located in prominent locations next to Hwy 47 in the town of Yamhill, Oregon, and at each of the participating lavender farms.  The Artisan Fair features a variety of high quality handmade art and craft, food vendors, music, entertainment and more.  If you have unique and interesting handcrafted work, your application in welcome.  This is a juried show.

There is a great deal of excitement about the Festival from past vendors, previous festival attendees, the press, the community and everyone who hears of the Festival.  We hope that you will join us for this simply scent-sational event.
