Wayward Winds Lavender Farm was established in 2001 with the desire to create something beautiful and to share that beauty with others. Our farm was originally a steep hillside covered in weeds. Although we have nothing against weeds, we like lavender better. Because we grow our lavender organically, there are still a few weeds to be seen at Wayward Winds but you'll also find a mature lavender field with 8 varieties of lavender for U-pick in colors of white, pink, mauve, and several shades of purple. There is also a young field which we just planted in spring 06. We hope to extend the plantings to even greater numbers in the fall. Please come and share the beauty. |
