Welcome to Goodwin Creek Gardens, a family run nursery since 1977,
tucked among the oaks, pines, and firs of southwestern Oregon.
We grow a wonderful mix of over 800 useful and ornamental plants.
Our specialties include over 80 varieties of lavender, including
some of our own introductions like 'Goodwin Creek Grey' and 'Chelsea
Pink'. We also offer a large selection of pelargoniums (geraniums),
Mediterranean plants, herbs, and plants that attract hummingbirds
and butterflies.
We use only organic soil ingredients, organic fertilizers, and,
though seldom needed, organic pesticides.
We are open Fridays and Saturdays, 9 am to 5 pm, April through
September. For other days, please call ahead. If you can't make
it to the nursery, you can order directly from our website or request
a free catalog. Our plants can be shipped or taken by your car
anywhere in the United States, including California. Directions
and a map are listed in both the catalog and website.
If you know what you want, call in the order and we'll have it
ready when you arrive. There are also many fine wineries and restaurants
in the area, as well as an HSA sponsored lavender display garden,
making this a great destination.
We are proud recipients of the Herb Society of America's (HSA)
2009 Nancy Putnam Howard Award for excellence in horticulture.
